Senior Credit Analyst

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Credit Analyst to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA. Main Job Duties: Create and maintain credit history files and credit limits. Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of accounts and clients using external credit risk management tools and reports. Manage the accounts receivable portfolio by monitoring customer accounts, identifying overdue payments, and proactively addressing potential issues. Identify delinquent accounts and contact customers to collect overdue payments, negotiate payment plans, and resolve billing disputes. Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including customer communications, payment arrangements, and any legal actions taken. Research and resolve account disputes and billing discrepancies. Respond to credit inquiries from both external and internal clients. Identify bad debt or financial exposure and escalate as appropriate. Provide regular updates to management on collection status, highlight high-risk accounts, and contribute to financial reporting. Lead and participate in various projects and job responsibilities as directed by the Credit Manager. Partner with internal departments to continuously improve credit and collections processes. Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to enhance systems, workflows, or credit policies. Contribute to the development and documentation of internal credit procedures and controls. Qualifications

Education: BA in Accounting, Finance or Business Experience: 5-8 years Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Ability to analyze financial data, assess credit risk, and understand financial statements Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve customer-related issues Effective at prioritizing responsibilities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Highly detail-oriented and results-driven Systems: MS Office SharePoint Company Info
