We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual, dependable, trustworthy, good customer service and detail-oriented to join Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM). The full-time
Janitorial
is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and maintenance of the building based on assigned duties at the retail center on the Big Island. We are a major facility service company with excellent benefits including health insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, a 401(k) plan, flexible spending options, and competitive wages.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean common areas of the facility Restroom cleaning and restock supplies Sweep, mop, interior and exterior floors, clean glass doors and mirrors Use of a golf cart in the facility Clean and disinfect surfaces that are being touched frequently Clean and wipe down all tables and chairs Use of a leaf blower Able to stand and walk for a long period of time Pick up and dispose trash to designated area Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Ability to work well with a team and individually Must have good public relations skills and communication Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, push, pull, carry a minimum of 30lbs (up to 50lbs), frequently lift over 50lbs, be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, stair and climb up/down a ladder and stand throughout their shifts.
Schedule:
Friday: 6am-2:30pm, Saturday:6am-10pm and Sunday: 1:30pm-10pm (32 hours a week)
Compensation:
$22.00/per hour
