A manufacturer for aerospace parts in Simi Valley is looking to hire a Level I, II & III CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist. As an experienced Level I, II & III CNC Machinist you will work on both CNC Lathe and CNC Milling machines. Location: Simi Valley Salary: $25.00 $33.00/hr. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities: Perform setup and operation of CNC lathe and mill machines with minimal supervision Handle all phases of part operation to achieve first article acceptance Conduct accurate in-process quality inspections and maintain records Identify and implement process improvements for precision machining Desired Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of experience in CNC lathe and mill setup and operation Expertise in multi-axis and multi-turret machines (Y/B Axis experience is a plus) Skilled in using indicators, dial bores, and inspection methods for high-precision parts Ability to maintain close tolerances within .0005" on ID profiles and roundness Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tool life in aerospace machining Experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies is ideal Company rewards and benefits (upon hiring): The company offers extensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401K plan, profit sharing, paid time off and more) Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $33.00 Per Hour
