The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from client-directed branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities transactions while simultaneously providing excellent client service. Responsibilities: Support client activity across multiple lines of businesses, inclusive of cash and trade management, derivatives & collateral, securities lending and bank/term loans Act as a liaison between Client Teams and Citi Operations & Transactions Teams providing superior client service and operational excellence Build and foster client relationships across multiple support functions Provide value-add solutions to enhance the operating model and client support infrastructure Demonstrate and foster leadership skills across all support functions and client interactions Think and act like an owner to enhance the client experience Resolve complex process problems which require an in-depth evaluation of basic securities processing procedures and industry standards Offer advanced solutions for assigned securities processing areas Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff Serve as analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: 5-8 years of relevant experience Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
