FB Titan Electric Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager II (Full-time, permanent) to support our growing portfolio in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will be required to be in office and travel to various project sites within Salt Lake City. Project Manager II's operate with a high level of independence and lead all aspects of project execution-planning, safety, commercial performance, subcontractor oversight, and client coordination. This role requires sound judgment, strong communication, and deep knowledge of construction sequencing, quality control, and risk management. Typical work includes overhead distribution builds, brownfield substation upgrades, and localized transmission construction. What We Offer: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits plan Enrollment in 401k plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Days Company assigned vehicle and gas card Company phone and laptop Family-orientated working environment Opportunities for career growth and development Key Responsibilities: Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day Enforces corporate safety policies and field-level job hazard procedures, inspections, and audits Supports Safety professionals as required at the project site Develop project execution strategies, including work phasing, resource planning, and field methodology Lead daily and weekly planning with crews, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Coordinate mobilization, permitting, material flow, and equipment access Monitor schedule performance and lead recovery planning where needed Prepares cost forecast for assigned Projects, develops plans for improving cost performance, and works with construction supervision to implement changes Prepare budgets based on Project estimate and input into Company ERM software system Reads, reviews and understands Client Contract content and requirements with support from others as required Able to inform others of Contract requirements Communicates with Client concerning changes in Contract scope or terms with goal to obtain appropriate Contract Change Order Prepares and submits necessary Change Order information to Client Negotiates less complex Change Orders based on Company guidance Ensures selection of qualified material suppliers Completes material purchase requisitions and ensures issue of applicable purchase orders in accordance with Company policy Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for the benefit of the Company and project within limits of authority Tracks, expedites, and ensures review and approval of all subcontractor submittals according to subcontract requirements Prepares and publishes required Project reports which may include daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports Schedules and host regular Project review meetings including Project Kickoff and Closeout Meetings Publishes meeting minutes for applicable meetings Supports development of and ensures implementation of Project plans for HSE, Quality, overall execution, cost management, change management and other areas Recommends plan modifications to support better execution and compliance with Project requirements Tracks defined Project risk conditions, cost and other impacts associated with defined Project risks Seeks ways to mitigate risks to prevent negative impacts on the Company and Project What We Are Looking For: Minimum five (5) years of leading construction projects in linear construction or electric transmission construction, is required Bachelor level degree (B.S.) in Construction Management, an Engineering discipline related to the Company's work, or similar technical degree, is required PMP or CET, or equivalent certification, is preferred Preferred experience managing construction projects with contract values of at least $2 million Proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel, SAP, Primavera P6, and standard cost control or scheduling platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, dependable, and safety-oriented with meticulous attention to detail Able and willing to travel as required and work extended/flexible hours if required to accommodate project/site hours of operation Able and willing to provide a valid driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract FB Titan Electric Inc. is a subsidiary under the Forbes Bros USA Inc. umbrella.
