Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing highly efficient ELT/ETL processes.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and support new and existing highly efficient ELT/ETL processes Implement solutions to answer complex questions and drive business decisions Work in a hybrid cloud ecosystem, building and supporting data and analytics solutions hosted in on-prem data centers and multiple cloud environments Design, build and maintain data pipelines in hybrid cloud Enhance data and metadata management infrastructure to ensure data quality, accessibility and security Ensure that data users and consumers consume data provisioned to them responsibly through data governance and compliance initiatives Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5 years of related experience Any amount of experience designing, developing, testing and maintaining data pipelines for ETL workflows using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, SSIS and MS SQL Server Any amount of experience performing estimating, testing, and deployment for data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines Any amount of experience converting business requirements into IT solutions by collaborating with business stakeholders and translating their needs into actionable designs using Azure SQL Database and MS SQL for structured data storage and Azure Synapse Analytics and SSIS for data processing Any amount of experience implementing optimization and efficiency techniques on data warehouse solutions, focusing on data design, query performance and cost efficiency, by utilizing indexing, partitioning, and materialized views to enhance large-scale data processing Any amount of experience designing, developing, and maintaining analysis cubes for analytics using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure Analysis Services, or Power BI for data modeling, reporting and visualization, enabling business intelligence capabilities with optimized processing times
Must live within normal commuting distance of worksite. Must be in office 2 days a week.
