The Assistant General Counsel will provide general legal support for the Pro Builder business of LG Electronics USA (LGEUS) which sells and installs home appliances and other products in new home and other residential construction projects. The position will further serve to ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate legal risks and provide business legal support for the Pro Builder business. Responsibilities
Draft, review, and support negotiation of various types of complex sales, installation, construction, services, and other agreements. Advise on antitrust and other legal issues associated with distribution of products and services. Review and advise on proposed external communications. Work with risk management staff on insurance coverage obligations. Advise on licensing and other regulatory requirements. Manage and/or support pre-litigation and litigation disputes. Provides detailed reporting to the involved parties. Generally support LGEUS' Home Appliance and B2B business teams. Qualifications
JD degree, plus at least 5-7 years' relevant experience. Experience negotiating construction and/or supply agreements. Strong execution and project management skills. Negotiation and construction industry experience. In-house legal experience preferred. Advanced organizational skills. Ability to work independently and with accountability. Position located in LG Offices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, Alpharetta, GA, or Lincolnshire IL, with limited travel. Applicable New Jersey, Georgia, or Illinois Bar license. Recruiting Range: $150,000 - $200,000 USD Benefits Offered Full-Time Employees
