What this job involves: As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, you will support our operations team by performing various maintenance tasks throughout the facility. You'll handle everything from lighting system upkeep to equipment repairs, ensuring all building systems function properly. This role requires technical skills, physical capabilities, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Maintaining lighting systems including bulb and ballast replacements Performing HVAC/R maintenance such as coil cleaning and evaporator servicing Conducting minor plumbing repairs and maintenance Supporting kitchen equipment functionality (meat grinders, cubers, saws, slicers, etc.) Completing special projects including painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests Documenting work performance and tracking materials procurement Maintaining compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements Desired experience and technical skills

Requirements:

Valid state driver's license Minimum one year experience in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work Ability to lift 80+ pounds and use ladders up to 30 feet Physical capability for frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening Preferred:
