The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits, electronic instruments, gauges, controls, and equipment used in the processing of the products. This is a first shift position that will require periodic overtime. The starting wage for this role is $48.46 per hour. This position also offers a $3,000 sign on bonus. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies, and procedures Repairing and maintaining plant machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications Responding to all maintenance issues, both mechanical and electrical, throughout the plant Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in the safety program Effectively communicating work performed and equipment statuses both written and verbally Working any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed Wearing the necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) i.e.: hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, this would include working with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs to diagnose and resolve issues on electro/pneumatic/mechanical devices Uploading, editing, downloading, and backing up PLC programs, Servo Control parameters, HMIs, Thermal Control Parameters, robot code, etc. as required Independently troubleshooting and diagnosing and repairing issues on equipment circuits Supporting machine controls safety inspections and electrical code compliance reviews as required Maintaining Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, HMIs, SCADAs, and applying knowledge of instrumentation and controls hardware and software to ensure process control Completing code development or revisions for controller, HMI, and SCADA as applicable Assisting with the creation and revision of I/O lists and Control System Narrative Implementing planned equipment upgrades under the direction of Engineering Complying with all applicable standards such as USDA, FDA, relevant CFRs, GFSI, and other applicable customer requirements Adhering to HACCP, Allergen Control Program, GMPs, product specifications, and other QA plans and required process control procedures to insure processes, work in progress, raw materials, and finished goods meet the specified quality and standards. All other duties as assigned. Ideal candidate specifications include: Electrician certification

State of Wisconsin (required) PLC experience (required) Must be qualified to work on high voltage power circuits Ability to interact with co-workers and establish a good working relationship with peers and supervision.
