As Executive Director within the Global Markets Division (CIB), based in New York and reporting to the Global Head of FX Trading, you will lead and manage the pricing, risk management, and strategic development of FX and IR flow long-term derivatives. You will be a key contributor to trading profitability, client service excellence, and global coordination efforts, ensuring rigorous adherence to risk and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities
Lead counterparty execution and pricing strategies for FX & IR derivatives, expanding client flows and market share. Oversee dynamic risk management aligned with BBVA's global risk appetite. Coordinate across global trading desks to optimize book management. Supervise trade registration and ensure regulatory and policy compliance. Monitor and explain P&L results, maintaining robust governance and control. Develop and mentor junior traders, and represent the desk in governance forums. BBVA Competency Framework

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $200,000 to $300,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
