Vice President, Indirect Sourcing

The Vice President, Indirect Sourcing will lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategy and execution across multiple brands, with a focus on driving high-impact business value. This executive role will be responsible for optimizing sourcing strategies, achieving significant cost savings, enhancing supply assurance, increasing operational efficiency, and mitigating supply chain risk. The VP will serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, deeply engaging with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into sourcing strategies that deliver measurable outcomes. Job Functions

Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement Operations: Lead the development and execution of integrated sourcing and procurement strategies across indirect categories to deliver enterprise value, savings, service quality, and supply continuity. Oversee both strategic sourcing and day-to-day procurement operations to ensure seamless execution from category strategy through transaction processing and supplier payment readiness. Manage sourcing lifecycle activities including market analysis, supplier selection, RFP execution, contract negotiation, award, and performance tracking. Direct operational procurement functions such as purchase order management, supplier onboarding, catalog enablement, and transactional compliance across brands. Partner with Finance and IT to streamline the Source-to-Pay process, enabling automation, real-time analytics, and standardized operational workflows. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal controls, policy governance, and regulatory compliance requirements. Champion procurement transformation initiatives to drive operational excellence, eliminate manual touchpoints, and enhance the user experience across the procurement lifecycle. Contract and Supplier Relationship Management: Lead governance and performance oversight of critical supplier relationships. Establish value creation targets, enforce contractual obligations, and oversee key supplier scorecards and performance metrics. Conduct executive-level business reviews to ensure alignment with Carnival's operational and strategic priorities. Develop supplier risk mitigation frameworks and escalation protocols. Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic partnerships with suppliers. Team Development & Management: Lead a team of sourcing & procurement professionals located across the globe to drive results. Support the onboarding of new talent acquisitions into the company's sourcing & procurement process. Develop, coach and mentor key talent to build a world-class strategic sourcing & procurement operation organization. Consciously create a workplace culture that embraces Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Serve as a role model for company values and hold direct reports accountable for serving as role models for the corporate culture. Reporting & KPI Management: Define, track, and communicate key sourcing performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier diversity, ESG impact). Develop and maintain sourcing dashboards and reports for executive leadership visibility and alignment. Ensure procurement initiatives deliver against enterprise-wide financial and strategic goals. Use advanced analytics and benchmarking to identify sourcing improvement areas and support decision-making. Continuously refine KPI frameworks to reflect evolving business priorities and market conditions. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred. Background in Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Supply Chain, Business, or other relevant disciplines. MBA and/or CPM or CPSM certification preferred Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations with demonstrated success leading enterprise initiatives. Advanced financial and analytical skills Proficiency with procurement technologies such as spend analytics, contract lifecycle management, and platforms. Executive-level negotiation capabilities and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive favorable outcomes across complex contract landscapes. Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, and decision-making capabilities. Proven leadership in influencing enterprise spend strategies and executive-level stakeholder alignment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills; capable of driving organizational alignment around procurement transformation. Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment with agility and resilience. Strong presentation skills suitable for all levels in the organization. Possess innovative & critical thinking skills, adaptable in problem-solving, and ability to provide actionable outcomes. Proven ability to interface & partner with business leaders & strategic partners. Minimum 10 years of increasingly leadership responsibility in Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain for a large multi-unit corporation. Minimum 1015 years of progressive sourcing experience, including leadership of indirect spend categories within the travel, leisure, or consumer services industries. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely. Work Conditions

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. All full-time employees at the manager and below level start with 14 days/year; director and above level start with 19 days/year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure. Sick Time
