HR Manager
The HR Manager will play a strategic and high-impact role in overseeing administrative functions, shaping organizational culture, and managing employee relations within a large-scale organization. This position requires a hands-on leader who will manage and guide a team of HR professionals while ensuring strict adherence to HR Personnel Rules and Administrative Directives. The HR Manager will drive the development of a positive, inclusive workplace by fostering strong relationships with employees at all levels and working closely with leadership to align HR practices with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include leading and overseeing all HR administrative functions, ensuring coordination of employee records with the Records Team, maintaining compliance documentation, and generating regular reports. The HR Manager will ensure the efficient and accurate processing of employee requests meeting organizational standards and deadlines. They will assist in ownership and outcomes of HRIS tasks, including talent management, performance evaluations, compensation, benefits administration, terminations, name changes, and other HR systems functions. The HR Manager will provide support to leaders and ensure the timely delivery of employee-related letters and other administrative tasks. They will monitor and enforce HR service levels, ensuring that all HR-related requests and issues are addressed within agreed-upon timeframes. The HR Manager will advise and support leaders on complex employee performance and conduct matters, providing recommendations for appropriate disciplinary and corrective actions. They will champion organizational culture initiatives that reinforce the organizational values and mission, proactively driving engagement and alignment throughout the organization in coordination with the Training team. The HR Manager will work closely with leaders to develop and implement effective strategies aimed at employee retention, development, and overall satisfaction. They will serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues, conflicts, grievances, and resolutions, providing timely, fair, and transparent support. The HR Manager will foster a culture of open communication between employees and management, proactively addressing potential issues to maintain a harmonious and productive work environment. They will spearhead conflict resolution efforts, ensuring positive working relationships and fostering a collaborative and respectful atmosphere. The HR Manager will lead investigations into employee complaints, concerns, and disputes, ensuring prompt and impartial resolution in line with organizational policies. They will manage case management systems, ensuring the proper documentation and follow-up of complaints and disputes. The HR Manager will generate reports on employee relations metrics, tracking key trends, issues, and resolutions to identify areas of opportunity and improvement. They will develop and track key HR metrics (e.g., employee satisfaction, retention rates, engagement scores) and regularly report findings to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The HR Manager will manage, mentor, and inspire a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, direction, and support to ensure continuous growth and performance excellence. They will delegate tasks and responsibilities with precision and efficiency, ensuring all HR operations are carried out smoothly and effectively across the organization. The HR Manager will conduct regular performance evaluations for HR team members, offering actionable feedback and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. They will oversee the implementation of training programs that support the professional development of HR team members, enhancing their knowledge, skills, and abilities. The HR Manager will ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. They will regularly produce and present reports on HR activities, compliance, performance, and development to senior management. The HR Manager will maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include SLA Management, experience in managing and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLA) for HR services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Reporting & Metrics: Ability to analyze HR data, create detailed reports, and track key metrics for performance management and strategic decision-making. Training & Development: Strong background in developing and implementing employee training programs aimed at both skill development and organizational growth. Deep understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team in a fast-paced, complex work environment. Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and achieving positive outcomes. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges strategically and constructively. Proficiency in HRIS software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant HR tools. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Science, or HR-related field, and five (5) years of progressive experience in human resources in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Equivalences include high school diploma or GED plus nine (9) years of the required experience, associate degree in any field plus seven (7) years of the required experience, bachelor's degree (or higher) in a non-specified field plus seven (7) years of the required experience, and master's degree (or higher) in a specified field plus three (3) years of the required experience. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is strongly preferred. Salary range: $77,264.03 - $96,580.03.
