Job Summary: Monitors, dispatches, and load balances work orders to field personnel to utilize field resources safely and efficiently. Monitors requests for information and provides the communication link between customer service representatives and field personnel. Essential Functions: Establish Field Operations workload priorities, route work orders, provide supporting documentation to field crews including secondary emergency response resources (including on-call for after hours) Records research Submit Locate Tickets for field (when field is unavailable to call their own on emergency and to assist Advanced for pre-planned work) Call out OT C&M and/or M&R techs when needed for pre-planned work (and emergency) Arranging Sewer Lateral work when needed for pre-planned and emergency Generates pre-construction communications Responds to customer and field crew inquiries and change requests. Updates SAP as required Produces reports and creates list edits Basic Qualifications: Education: Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent knowledge of English, basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the calculation of fractions and/or percentages), grammar and punctuation Experience: Requires one (1) year experience in/or supporting utility distribution operations or at least one (1) year of dispatching experience.
