Tenure Track Faculty Position
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking innovative scientists who wish to address problems of fundamental importance to the biology of cancers that affect children and young adults for tenure-track positions at the Assistant and Associate (Professor) Member levels. MSK Kids, Tow Center for Developmental Oncology, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, MSK Kids, Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program, and Sloan Kettering Institute are looking for scientists to develop fundamental insights into the molecular mechanisms of cancers in children and young adults. The goal is to make biological discoveries to develop definitive treatments for patients. MSK offers a unique and exciting research environment with programs in Immunology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biochemistry and Structural Biology. The presence of world-renowned clinical programs in cancer research, treatment, and prevention offers unique opportunities for creative collaboration. Direct integration with MSK Kids and multiple translational programs enables rapid development of improved therapies for patients. Key qualifications include: An M.D., M.D./Ph. D., or equivalent with excellent clinical, communication, and team skills. Postdoctoral research experience and dedication to important problems at the interface of biology and medicine, as they relate to cancers that affect children or young adults. Pay range: $105,000 - $270,000. Physician compensation is based on multiple variables. This range represents annual salary only and does not include supplemental performance-based pay or any one-time payments that eligible candidates may be offered at the time of hire.
