The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for working closely with Carbohydrate Solutions (CS) business leaders to drive actions that improve financial performance and forecasting. This position is an exciting growth opportunity and reports directly to the Global Carb Solutions FP&A Director and will work closely with the BU Finance Director
Global Milling. Responsibilities: Provide monthly, quarterly and annual, driver-based performance reporting to business management, with an emphasis on understanding variances vs. prior periods and vs. plan/forecast Assist in analysis of optimizing asset footprint including detailed analysis of financial and operational impacts of various plant/product mix scenarios Monitor key metrics to identify leakages/opportunities to most recent forecast/plan Provide analytical support to the global business unit team to understand business drivers of performance Work closely with controlling colleagues to design and implement process changes to improve the relevance and insightfulness of information available to management Prepared monthly P&L estimate and forward looking financial forecast Assist in building the annual business plan including operating, capital and financial components Assist in the financial analysis and integration of mergers and acquisitions Work closely with Finance and Operations to track the completion and realization of profits from cost savings initiatives, synergies and major capex initiatives Utilize HFM to extract data and create insightful reports for management; partner with the global controlling team to improve the quality and value of data captured by HFM and other Hyperion systems Undertake special projects for business leadership and FPA leads as needed Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, or business related field with a minimum of 5 years business related experience; MBA a plus Thorough knowledge of ADM business units or related business Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability to work in a challenging environment with multiple, changing and competing priorities Ability to think and plan strategically Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills Competent in Microsoft Office Suite Competence in IBM and HFM systems a plus Must be flexible to various work hours. Limited travel. ADM requires the successful completion of a background check. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. The pay range for this position is expected to be between: $57,700.00 - $105,800.00
