Qualification Requirements:
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. 2 - 3 years previous catering sales, sales manager, conference service manager or food & beverage manager experience. Strong strategic sales abilities to include qualifying, selling and closing sales skills. High level of creativity with attention to detail, paired with strong business acumen. Job Functions:
The ability to monitor and maintain accurate account bookings in Delphi (Golden S&C) to include, all aspects of Delphi (Golden S&C) account management, forecasting average checks, BEOs, etc. The ability to coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenue. The ability to conduct site visits of the property with meeting planners and potential clients. The ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs. The ability to communicate, coordinate and motivate all other departments to ensure quality of guest satisfaction. The ability to oversee, supervise and follow up on the operational execution of banquet events. The ability to prepare a monthly booking report, review for accuracy and approve each month all revenue from all bookings, review for accuracy and approve all individual production. The ability to achieve yearly personal and team sales booking goals. The ability to be fully versed in all banquet space, facilities and capabilities of competitive market. The ability to review all function space with the Banquet Manager and Head House attendant regarding clients' requirements for specific groups or functions. The ability to review all banquet event orders, daily and weekly banquet sheets and all banquet checks to ensure accuracy in all aspects of content. The ability to provide creative and analytical input on the marketing plan and budget. The ability to assist in developing and executing projects for assigned market areas to increase catering activity, volume and profit.
