Admissions RN Opportunity At Intermountain Hospital

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Admissions RN to assess potential patients for admission! The Admissions Department screens and assesses patients in settings ranging from triaging patients from hospitals, performing scheduled assessments, and crisis management of walk-in patients with acute mental health and/or substance use disorder. Admissions works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, clinicians, and nursing staff to access the appropriate level of care required to stabilize the patient's emotional health. Shift: Full-time 12:00 noon to 12:30 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday rotating. Sign-On/Retention Bonus: $3,000 payable over two years Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services to Idaho's Treasure Valley and the western US since 1980. This 151-bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. Must be trained in Crisis Prevention Instruction (we provide) and CPR. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State of Idaho. Preferred experience in psychiatric setting.
