The Red Gate Group is seeking an accomplished Senior Program Manager to provide high-level advisory support to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters in managing risks and opportunities across major DoD and U.S. Air Force nuclear modernization and sustainment programs. In this pivotal role, you will integrate technical, operational, geopolitical, and programmatic insights to deliver data-driven recommendations that shape decisions impacting the nuclear security enterprise. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior DoD leadersidentifying emerging risks, developing mitigation and exploitation strategies, and facilitating enterprise-wide coordination to ensure mission success. This position requires exceptional analytical ability, a deep understanding of defense programs, and proven experience engaging with stakeholders at the highest levels of government. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the principal subject-matter expert for nuclear enterprise risk and opportunity management. Support senior defense leadership in researching, analyzing, and developing decisions related to nuclear modernization and sustainment programs. Formulate guidance, recommendations, and actionable strategies to address identified risks and opportunities. Facilitate communications with interagency and enterprise stakeholders to develop mitigation and exploitation plans. Enhance enterprise-wide prioritization and management of technical, operational, and programmatic risks. Lead working group sessions, case studies, and business case development. Interface regularly with senior DoD/USAF leadership to inform key enterprise decisions. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant technical, business, or engineering experience. Demonstrated experience within the Department of Defense, particularly in modernization and sustainment program management. Ability to provide strategic guidance on enterprise-wide nuclear security initiatives. Active Top Secret clearance or DOE Q Clearance, with eligibility for SCI access. U.S. citizenship. Desired Qualifications: Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience. Experience supporting DoD or USAF nuclear modernization and sustainment projects. Additional Information
