Paint Line Support
Job Title: Paint Line Support Prepared By: Sr. HR Generalist
Department: Paint Approved By: Director of HR
Reports To: Production Manager
Summary:
Load or unload from a moving conveyor line for painting or packaging
Essential Function: Mask and plug parts prior to painting, if necessary Operate forklift, pallet jack, hoist or crane to move parts Utilize full capacity of line for maximum efficiency Position products on hooks for painting Perform final visual inspection of coated parts for runs, chips, or other defects Prepare finished products for loading and packing Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable Assist with any other duties as assigned
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
General manufacturing experience and knowledge of different materials
General knowledge of part loading/hanging procedures
Basic math, computer, and written/verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of packing procedures
Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions
Physical Exposure:
Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
Fork truck traffic
Exposure to paint department chemicals and acids
Exposure to paint oven heat
Exposure to paints and powder coating dust
Oils/solvents on materials
