Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced cook who is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals to patients and employees. The cook will work directly under the supervision of the Dietary Director to ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and delivered on schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Participate in provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff and guests. Accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock. Prepares meals for patients, employees, medical staff, and visitors, including special diets as requested. Supports facility service excellence standards. Collaborates with other departments to ensure patients' dietary needs are met appropriately. Cleans and maintains equipment as needed to comply with health regulations standards. Benefit Highlights:

Requirements:

Education:

High School Degree or equivalent.

Experience : 1-3 years of cooking experience required. Healthcare dietary experience or cooking for large quantities of people is preferred.

Additional Requirements :

Food Handler Permit preferred

Work Hours:

Monday- Friday 10am-7pm
