Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings, we are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician with envelope and/or print industry knowledge for its Dallas, Texas facility.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of industry related experience with a strong industrial electrical controls background.

Job Summary
Performs maintenance on all plant equipment including but not limited to all production and ancillary equipment while maintaining a safe work environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Performs preventive and emergency maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems, vacuum pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and all converting equipment within the facility. * Provides troubleshooting on equipment problems, i/e. motors, switches, panel control boxes, basic PLCs. Recommends and assists in repairs and corrective action. * Monitors, schedules, and documents preventive maintenance on equipment. Researches and requisitions machine parts as required. * Performs general maintenance of building and plant grounds. * Work from blueprints and plans to repair, maintain and install equipment. * Familiar with all folding, cutting, printing and ancillary equipment. * Assist employees with repairs and diagnosis of equipment problems. * Work with machine shop equipment including, but not limited to mill, lathe, drill press, welding, and cutting equipment.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the Americans With Disabilities Act.

* The physical demands required while performing the duties of this job include: frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, grasping, reaching with hands and arms, twisting, talking and hearing. The employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, carry 50lbs, push 100 lbs, pull 75 lbs. * This position requires the incumbent to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include utilization of color vision, close vision, distance vision, and an ability to adjust focus. * Must regularly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active listening. * Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals and heat and cold. * Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of similar or industry related experience. * Minimum education required is a High School Diploma or equivalent * Strong industrial electrical controls background including, reading and troubleshooting from blueprints and schematics. * Reliable and dependable with the ability to be on-call (24/7 scheduled intervals) to resolve plant issues. Willingness to work overtime as needed. * Basic math skills; must be able to read a scale and work with fractions. * Ability to perform a volume of mechanical detail work with speed and accuracy; manual dexterity. * Required ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to clearly write routine reports and correspondence.
