Cylinder Build Technician
Our client, a provider of hydraulic service and repair, is seeking a Cylinder Build Technician to join their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity where you will be part of a small team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Uhrichsville, OH Pay Range: 22 - 25/hour Shift: First Shift What's the Job? Disassemble cylinders to diagnose problems and provide recommendations for repairs. Inspect parts and various components to determine re-workability. Remanufacture hydraulic cylinders, including machining components and testing. Weld eyelets and endcaps, hone barrels if required, and reassemble cylinders. Maintain a clean and organized shop environment while participating in continuous improvement initiatives. What's Needed? 1 to 3 years of experience in fluid power service and repair, including hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting. Ability to perform routine repairs without direct supervision. Valid driver's license. Strong attention to detail and technical expertise. Effective teamwork and analytical thinking skills. What's in it for me?
