The FX Middle Office Analyst is responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations and Front Offices. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the processing and allocation of trades, clearance, and investigation of Foreign Exchange transactions. Responsibilities include: Provide analytical support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically around FX related products. Maintain and manage daily tasks including but not limited to trade reconciliations, trade allocations, management control reports, and trade statuses Perform analyses of discrepancies to help resolve trade issues or client queries Manage, escalate and resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications include: 2-5 years of experience in a related role Relevant Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred Demonstrated project management skills Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills Education: Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
