This position is responsible for: Administrative duties for Interstate Compact Managing phone calls for the assigned office; refers complaints and concerns with offenders, offender's families, criminal justice system members, and the general public to the appropriate staff. Managing shared email inbox and responding to emails from offenders, offender's families, criminal justice system members, and the general public. Creating and/or preparing letters, memos, forms, meeting schedules, reports, etc., using word processing, spreadsheet, and database and/or presentation software. Maintaining data logs in established software programs and producing statistical information upon request. Coordinating and scheduling meetings as requested; making all necessary travel arrangements for staff as requested. Having daily initial contact with offenders, visitors, and others who may be hostile or under the influence of substances. May complete caseload audits. This position will be located at the Montana Department of Correction's central office in Helena, MT.
