Facility Maintenance Technician
Our client, a dedicated facility focused on animal care and conservation, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall safety and functionality of the sanctuary. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Location:

20 Shift:
8-5 What's the Job? Perform routine maintenance of animal enclosures, including structural repairs, welding, painting, and weatherproofing. Conduct regular inspections of fences, locks, gates, and other safety systems to ensure security and containment. Troubleshoot possible plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs. Operate and maintain tools, vehicles, and machinery such as tractors, power washers, and generators. Respond to emergency repairs and weather-related issues, ensuring a safe environment for all. What's Needed? High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus. Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or facility operations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical systems.
