Superintendent

Our commercial division is rapidly expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of high-quality roofing projects from start to finish. Position Summary
The Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in managing multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously. This position ensures all projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while overseeing personnel, materials, and equipment. Key Responsibilities
Project Supervision & Coordination Oversee and manage multiple commercial roofing projects at once. Plan, organize, and coordinate daily project activities, including material staging, crew scheduling, and installation. Collaborate with project managers, foremen, suppliers, and other trades for smooth project execution. Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with project plans. Safety & Quality Control Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company safety policies. Conduct regular safety and quality control inspections to meet specifications, warranties, and client expectations. Personnel Management Lead, train, and mentor crew members in proper roofing installation methods and best practices. Address personnel issues, conduct performance reviews, and set clear expectations. Foster a positive and professional work culture, recognizing employee contributions. Material & Equipment Management Monitor material needs and coordinate timely ordering and delivery. Oversee proper staging, loading, and unloading of materials and equipment. Ensure tools and machinery are maintained and report defective equipment promptly. Communication & Reporting Maintain clear, consistent communication with management, clients, and crews. Provide daily updates on job progress, safety inspections, and any field concerns. Address client inquiries professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Handle project submittals. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Several years of experience in commercial roofing, with supervisory experience preferred. Proficient knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systems (e.g., BUR, TPO, Single Ply). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physically able to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
