Sorter
The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. Principal responsibilities include: sorting and segregating recoverable materials, depositing materials into appropriate chutes, assisting other sorters, following safety policies, inspecting loads for unacceptable waste, and communicating with equipment operators. Qualifications: previous experience working in a recycling facility sorting recyclable materials.
