About the job
The Customer Intelligence R&D team is looking for a Senior Software Developer to work on our newest Marketing AI offering. Marketing AI empowers marketing teams with purpose-built machine learning pipelines or tailored 'recipes' that transform their data into actionable models for a wide range of marketing use cases. Marketing AI is a full SaaS, value stream aligned team orchestrating work in multiple development layers from UI to mid-service layer down to cloud database and event processing. Working on new software is an opportunity to try new things, experiment and grow, and quickly incorporate customer feedback incrementally through rapid deployment.
As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
Design and develop high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to software engineering best practices and processes
Develop multi-tenancy solutions that support multiple services and scale seamlessly
Ensure solutions meet the highest data security guidelines and are consistent with R&D standards
Participate in project scoping and scheduling; tracks progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task.
Ensure quality through functional, unit and performance testing
Maintains accountability for the entire life cycle of the code including support for both internal and external consumers
Review cloud technologies and participate in research efforts to best determine applicability as it pertains to Marketing AI services
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Demonstrable experience with Java and Python programming languages
Test, design and implementation experience with web-based microservices, data processing systems, REST interfaces, and the OpenAPI specification
Experience working with container platforms and technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes and cloud deployments
Experience with Amazon Web Services, or similar cloud offerings

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with stream processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Flink, Kafka Streams).
Experience with Spring Boot and other java frameworks
Experience building DevOps-enabled software solutions
Usage of Git, GitHub, GitLab, and/or Jenkins.
