is looking for a
QC Micro Analyst , responsible for performing microbiological testing to ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of pharmaceutical products and manufacturing environments. This role is onsite Monday-Friday in
Silver Spring, MD .
Responsibilities for the QC Micro Analyst include:
Conduct microbial testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and controlled areas. Execute water and utility testing (e.g., TOC, bioburden, endotoxin). Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies. Document results accurately in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems. Participate in method validation, equipment qualification, and troubleshooting. Support investigations and CAPAs related to microbiological deviations. Ensure compliance with FDA, USP, and internal quality standards/SOPs.
Qualifications for the QC Micro Analyst include:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field. 1–3 years of experience in a QC microbiology lab, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Familiarity with aseptic techniques, GMP documentation, and microbiological methods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Compensation for the QC Micro Analyst includes:
Salary Range: approximately $28.00 - $38.00 hourly, commensurate with experience Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, ADP 401k, HSA, STD, LTD, PTO
