Software Engineer 1 (TS/SCI w/Poly)

CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements for the Data Transport System (DTS).
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
Provide application development involving high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed environments.
Experience with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA is required.
Additional Role Details: The position is located in Columbia, MD, supporting the DTS portfolio, which provides infrastructure, data protocols, and applications for near real-time data movement. Activities support local stakeholders, the Intelligence Community, DoD, and other federal partners, handling transport streams, messages, and files from bytes to terabytes.
Preferred Experience:
Experience writing analytics using Apache Hadoop, HDFS, and MapReduce.
Experience with large data sets or high-volume data ingestion.
Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apache Accumulo, Hadoop, and Zookeeper deployments.
Knowledge of the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection.
Proficiency in Linux, Git, Maven, Gradle.
Understanding of RESTful services and containers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat).
Knowledge of Public Key Enabling (PKE).
Minimum Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
4-10 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Java, Linux, Spring Framework, RESTful interfaces, and software development tools.
Potential CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certification.
