As a

Principal DevOps Engineer , you will lead and drive the mission to make the client's product delivery velocity a key competitive advantage in the market. You will be a tech lead and SME for the Enterprise DevSecOps Engineering team to drive the technical roadmap and deliverables, as well as partner closely with our product and engineering organizations to innovate at the speed of business with quality and security.

Responsibilities:

Drive engineering solutions aligned with our mission to make the client's software delivery velocity a key competitive advantage in the market.

Drive operational excellence for the connected services that deliver 24x7x365 operations. Improve operational practices, tools, and processes.

Collect technical requirements from stakeholders and help build a comprehensive CI/CD strategy and objectives.

Provide product and technical leadership, set goals that produce value, and uphold high technical standards.

Work with engineering leads to define, communicate, and institutionalize best DevOps practices across product engineering teams.

Partner with stakeholders to construct a 3-year business and technology roadmap aligned with the company's vision.

Develop standards and practices for deployments and create reusable interfaces for consumers.

Follow market trends and apply continuous improvement models to deployment and tooling.

Understand user needs and make data-driven prioritizations.

Deeply understand the company's business and technology domain to develop solutions that align with strategic goals.

Drive innovation and automation to simplify challenges and enhance developer productivity and experience.

Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deliver optimal technical solutions and develop prioritized roadmaps.

Requirements:

12+ years of professional SDLC experience across diverse technology disciplines, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions, preferably with software development background.

5+ years of hands-on experience automating cloud-based applications in AWS.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience across the entire DevOps cycle, including orchestration, CI/CD, on-premises & cloud deployment techniques, zero downtime deployment, feature flags, monitoring, and security.

Hands-on experience managing enterprise DevOps platforms such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, SonarQube, Octopus Deploy, AWS resources, testing, and security products.

Core Competencies:

Knowledge of .Net, Angular, and Python development and deployment constructs.

Ability to quickly learn new material and troubleshoot effectively.

Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.

Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Deep understanding of API design, platform vs. application design, and tooling for modern API creation.

Experience managing dynamic global configurations for applications and environments.

Experience with DevOps automation practices such as branching strategies, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, GitOps, blue/green, and canary deployments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.

Preferences:

Experience building SCM, CI, CD solutions that simplify developer workflows.

Ability to collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams on technical designs.

Expertise in problem-solving, technical leadership, and coaching.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
