Job Title: Floral Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Wendy Morton, Floral Manager
Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Note: Additional hours required during holiday weeks (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Floral Customer Service Representative to support our busy floral department. This role is essential in ensuring excellent customer communication, accurate order processing, and smooth daily operations-especially during peak holiday seasons, (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Key Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming florist-related phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
Accurately process all incoming floral orders for same-day fulfillment.
Confirm all daily floral deliveries and ensure timely updates.
Monitor and respond promptly to all florist emails.
Reconcile monthly floral statements for accounting accuracy.
Prepare and send outgoing invoices/statements at the start of each month.
Organize and file all floral department paperwork.
Work extended hours during major floral holidays to support increased order volume, (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving).
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Comfortable working longer hours during peak floral seasons.
