Nexstar Media Inc. station, KRON4, the San Francisco Bay Area's Local News Station, is looking for an
Evening Newscast Producer . We are seeking a producer who knows how to showcase the big story and can quickly adjust for breaking news. This position will line produce, edit videos, and create some newscast graphics. The evening producer will work out of our San Francisco studio on The Embarcadero.

KRON4 News produces more news than any other station in the Bay Area. We produce 13.5 hours of news on weekdays and 9 hours over the weekend. This will be a full-time, non-union, non-exempt position. Responsibilities
Line produce a one-hour newscast in ENPS Write news stories and teases Edit video for stories and teases using Adobe Premiere Create and order newscast graphics Time the newscast in the control room and adjust as needed for breaking news Communicate with reporters, assignment desk, anchors, and managers Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required Shift may include nights and weekends Qualifications
Prior experience producing a compelling newscast Experience with newsroom systems and desktop editing software Demonstrated ability to work with writers, reporters, and assignment desk editors College degree or equivalent in journalism/communications or broadcasting preferred Compensation: $32.00+/hr., commensurate with experience and skill level
