Job Description Corps Team is recruiting for a part-time HR Director on behalf of our client. This position requires 10 hours per week, with on-site work 1-2 days per month in the DC Metro area.

Responsibilities

Serve as an HR Generalist handling diverse HR issues.

Manage full lifecycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for HR-related matters.

Draft and update employee handbooks, performance management plans, etc.

Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws.

Disseminate information on HR programs, policies, and procedures.

Establish positive employee relations and advise managers on coaching and discipline.

Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.

Manage employee benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; equivalent experience may suffice.

HR certification (SHRM, PHR, SPHR, GPHR) strongly preferred.

Minimum 12+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years at a Sr. Manager or Director level.

Experience with recruiting platforms, LinkedIn, Boolean search, and ATS software.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Ability to build strong relationships and handle ambiguity.

Available for part-time hours during 10-4 EST and in-office 1-2 days/month.
