The Cloud Solutions Architect role at Britive is a senior position that will be an integral part of our Solutions Engineering Black Belt team. It combines responsibilities of Solution Engineers (SE), Domain Experts, Technical Marketing Engineers (TME), Partner Solutions Architects, Outbound Product, and Field Evangelists. This hybrid role ensures cohesive teamwork and effective utilization of skills across various technical and strategic areas, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. 3 key areas of focus: Creating the category through evangelism, content creation, blogs, webinars, etc. Securing new logos and landings, including PoVs. Driving product and market growth via partnerships, tech alliances, joint solutions, incubating new use cases, and generating new revenue streams. Details of Key Responsibilities: Sales Support and Field Evangelism: Provide top-class sales support to close deals. Develop and refine sales playbooks and relevant content to simplify the customer buying journey. Act as a field technologist and evangelist through webinars, podcasts, industry events, and analyst engagements (e.g., Gartner, Forrester). Build trust and credibility with customers to develop new champions. Serve as SME for CPAM category, Britive platform, use cases, and the problems Britive solves for the industry, including ROI/business value for customers. Be well-versed in the IAM space to connect the dots, providing authoritative and consultative insights, acting as a trusted advisor to the field and customers. Consulting background in IdP, IGA, and traditional PAM implementations such as CyberArk is mandatory. Serve as SME for specific technologies or business value areas such as industry verticals, pricing strategies, and joint solutions with other tech vendors. Engage with customer CISOs/CIOs and Champions to drive technology adoption and business alignment. Build an industry personal brand to keep the field updated on modern security approaches and architectures. Content Creation and Technical Marketing: Create outbound solution content for customers and marketing teams, including solution briefs, blogs, case studies, and white papers. Develop educational and certification content tailored to industry-specific use cases. Assist in developing and delivering Britive immersion day webinars to enable prospects to test product use cases. Customer and Partner Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers to support case studies, references, and success stories. Collaborate with Britive's partner team to help external partners and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) grow sales and develop integrated solutions. Act as a bridge between customers and product management, providing feedback to enhance offerings. Stay informed on market trends to guide product strategy and development. Lead internal innovation hackathons to align with customer expectations. Training and Community Building: Develop and deliver training sessions and certification programs to build an informed user community. Create a culture of continuous learning through team meetings, hackathons, and 1:1 coaching. Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor junior Solutions Architects to support their success and growth. Conduct weekly 1:1s to provide guidance aligned with their career goals and company objectives. Internal Stakeholders: Support Sales in pursuit strategies and scaling. Provide customer feedback and strategic insights to Product Management and Engineering. Assist marketing efforts with content and event participation. Contribute to new service offerings and product improvements. Offer revenue and customer retention insights to the executive team. Support the partner team in technical engagements and integrations. Collaborate with tech vendors for joint solutions to grow the customer base. Qualifications: Proven experience in a hybrid Solutions Architect role with a strong background in sales support, POVs, content creation, and evangelism. SME with consulting background in IdP, IGA, and traditional PAM implementations such as CyberArk. Industry presence and blogs are a plus. Strong discipline in managing end-to-end sales pursuits. Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and industry analysts. Excellent strategic thinking, relationship-building, and leadership skills. Minimum of 3 years (or 5 years for Principal) experience in early-stage startups working with cloud infrastructure. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive mindset. Familiarity with Cloud Security, Access solutions, and knowledge of at least one public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD practices. Travel: Willingness to travel at least 10-15% as needed. The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $135,000 to $200,000 annually plus commissions. Compensation depends on experience, expertise, location, and other factors.
