Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience as an Information Systems Security Officer supporting our country? As a systems security engineer, you will identify security system vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend optimal security solutions and strategies. You will lead the development and implementation of security measures to protect infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers, utilizing your knowledge of security devices and implementations. Your curiosity about technology and market trends will drive research and development of security solutions. Using your expertise in information system security software, hardware, and firmware, you will assess threats and implement infrastructure controls. This role will have a direct impact on the Department of Defense (DoD) by supporting national security efforts. What You’ll Work On:
Develop relationships quickly and communicate complex security topics effectively with various audiences, including senior management. Implement security controls across infrastructure and systems, including detection, vulnerability management, and event correlation in large enterprise environments. Perform risk and vulnerability assessments on networks, systems, and applications; leverage big data analytics and security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise. You Have: 15+ years of experience as an ISSO on Government and/or DoD contracts Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies Experience developing and maintaining documentation for Certification & Accreditation (C&A) in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies Experience providing Configuration Management (CM) for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware Experience supporting clients and high-level government or corporate officers Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementations, communication protocols, or encryption tools Ability to evaluate security solutions to ensure compliance with security requirements for processing classified information Ability to serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and oversee other ISSOs TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph Bachelor's degree DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level 1 or higher Clearance: Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required. The projected salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 annually, based on factors such as location, education, experience, and organizational requirements. This range is part of EverWatch’s total compensation package. Clearance Level
