Overview
The purpose of this position is to provide technical leadership to the EDI Team. The role involves offering subject matter expertise within EDI and Azure Platform, and making strategic recommendations to senior management. The position is responsible for the technical execution of design, development, testing, and deployment of EDI solutions. Responsibilities Ensure open communication with other developers and senior management. Ensure adherence to best practices, procedures, and policies under senior management guidance. Collaborate with external customers and chair meetings as needed. Support internal business groups with incident resolution, troubleshooting, and analysis. Assist Business Analysts in reviewing requirements. Review Map Requirement Documents (MRD) and design EDI objects accordingly. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including unit testing maps and regression testing when common objects are changed. Create, unit test, and verify end-to-end process flows using Logic Apps. Verify results using EDI Monitor Tool (BAM), including search criteria. Configure and verify connectivity with partners. Peer review objects such as maps, schemas, stored procedures before implementation. Deploy and verify objects in production and document setups. Provide support for production issues when needed. Follow all documentation standards and procedures. Mentor and train new developers, including creating training agendas and ongoing training. Oversee deployment and post-verification of objects to production.
Qualifications
7-10 years of relevant EDI experience. Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Proficient in communication protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS (web services and API). Proficient in BizTalk map development. Proficient in MS Visual Studio. Strong understanding of formats including EDI ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and Flat Files. Experience creating, updating, and using XML/XSLT. Proficient with Microsoft Azure ASE, including Logic Apps, Integration Accounts, Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault, Application Gateway, Event Grid, and DevOps Repository. Experience with ASE, CPU, and Database monitoring, troubleshooting various components. Proficient in SQL, C#, Java, and writing stored procedures. Strong database skills, understanding component relationships and query optimization. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good verbal and written communication skills.
