Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for a Full-Time Day Shift position, Tuesday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm. Access to state-of-the-art medical facilities. Job Responsibilities
Understand IVs, heparin locks, and central line usage related to CT procedures, as observed by supervisors and peers. Perform ancillary tasks to maintain departmental efficiency. Accurately identify patients and their files, ensuring no mislabeled films, images, or EMR charts. Track patients per department procedures; identify and correct errors promptly using EMR, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings with documented attendance. Additional Requirements
Work Schedule:
Tuesday – Friday, 7am – 5:30pm Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiography school. License & Certification:
ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist; CT Certification within one year of employment; BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience:
Prior hospital or healthcare environment experience as a Radiologic or CT Technologist is preferred. About Us
