Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health , opened in April 2025, seeks an experienced

Chief Quality Officer

to lead quality and safety programs. Reporting to the CEO, the CQO will focus on improving patient outcomes and hospital rankings. The ideal candidate will have a clinical background with expertise in quality, regulatory, and safety/risk management in an acute care setting. Preference for candidates residing in the DMV/Washington area; candidates from outside with strong quality backgrounds are also considered. Opportunity Highlights

Join the founding team at our new GW Health hospital Position is 0.5 FTE Potential to maintain a clinical practice, preferably with GW Medical Faculty Associates Competitive salary, including base pay and a commencement bonus Bonus based on performance metrics Position Requirements

Experience as CQO or similar in a fast-paced acute care setting Medical degree from an accredited school Advanced degree or certification (MBA, MHA, MPH, MMM, FACHE) Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency Current ABMS board certification or ability to obtain DC medical license Clean professional record Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Leadership experience in quality, safety, utilization, and clinical operations Knowledge of national trends and active involvement in hospital quality improvement Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives Strong adaptability, resilience, and political navigation skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Leadership, management, and financial skills Ability to lead and mentor staff Position Responsibilities

Build and lead a multidisciplinary quality and safety team Develop strategies for evidence-based clinical practices Collaborate with the CMO to promote safety and improve outcomes Develop and evaluate policies, procedures, and tools Oversee quality data analytics and trend analysis Implement LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce variation Lead monthly quality reviews and continuous improvement efforts The hospital is a full-service facility with 136 beds (expandable to 184), trauma and emergency departments, maternal health, ambulatory services, a community space, parking, and a helipad.
