Commercial Litigation Associate (Mid-Level)

Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group - Midlevel Associate Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group seeks a midlevel associate with at least three years of experience to join the practice in the San Francisco office. The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding academic credentials, and strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Responsibilities include taking/defending depositions, managing all phases of discovery, supervising junior associates, and supporting complex commercial litigation such as trade secrets and class actions. Participation in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations, is expected. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidates must hold a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction's bar.
