The Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time

non-tenure-eligible

Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for the role of Associate Director of the Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling. Responsibilities include: Serving as a course coordinator for up to two genetic counseling courses Participating in recruitment and admission activities, including interviewing and ranking candidates Advising at least 5 students per cohort academically Serving as a thesis advisor or committee member for up to 3 students per cohort Coordinating professional development and faculty advancement activities Supporting collaborations with other Northwestern University programs Contributing to the implementation of Strategic Plan goals Maintaining ACGC Accreditation standards Attending Advisory Board meetings and serving on committees Assisting the Program Director with administrative roles Engaging in scholarly and professional activities at state and national levels The Associate Program Director will report directly to the Program Director. The faculty rank and salary will depend on qualifications and experience. The position involves 0.75-1.0 FTE as Associate Program Director, with potential for up to 0.25 FTE in clinical or research settings. Qualifications

Required qualifications include: Master's degree in genetic counseling from an accredited program Certification from ABGC, CBGC, or ABMGG At least 5 years of experience as a certified genetic counselor At least 3 years of teaching, supervision, or research experience Recent training in curriculum design, assessment, or educational evaluation Preferred qualifications include experience in program administration, project management, psychosocial topics, leadership, or faculty development.
