The Director of RN Home Health Clinical Practice provides oversight, leadership, and support related to clinical practice and care provision. This role involves collaboration with agency leadership and nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of care, overseeing clinical services, implementing best practices, and managing performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
Monitor and recommend process improvements based on evidence-based practices. Support staffing, operational models, and compliance to enhance quality care and business growth. Analyze clinical and financial data to ensure care integrity and compliance. Lead clinical outcomes analysis, develop improvement initiatives, and monitor progress. Promote clinician retention through staff development and training programs. Develop Clinical Managers and support their ongoing professional growth. Assist in monitoring Medicare performance data and ensure adherence to standards. Ensure clinical excellence and compliance with documentation and survey requirements. Lead incident and mortality review processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Provide consultation and mentorship to nursing staff and leadership. Support survey readiness and coordinate corrective action plans. Collaborate on clinical needs related to acquisitions and integration. Stay informed on healthcare industry trends and participate in relevant conferences. Drive improvements to optimize resource utilization and patient outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent. Current RN licensure in good standing in the state of residence. Experience/Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years nursing experience, with at least 5 in home health care. At least 3 years in an administrative or supervisory role within a Medicare-certified home health agency. License/Certification: Valid driver's license from the state of residence. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of Medicare home health requirements, clinical services, and survey management. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and teaching skills. Detail-oriented, independent worker capable of managing multiple projects.
