Provide excellent customer service to our shoppers and donors. Maintain a clean and well-organized work and shopping environment. Handle each transaction with accuracy. Essential Functions:

Accurately manage the personal cash drawer; including opening, closing, and balancing. Follow all Salvation Army money handling procedures. Understand the Point of Sale system and complete sales effectively and efficiently. Proficiency should be achieved within 3 months of employment. Maintain a clean work environment at the cash register and throughout the store, including cleaning, straightening, hanging, and restocking as needed. Maintain a friendly demeanor, greet customers, and offer assistance. Follow all Salvation Army policies regarding the sale of merchandise. Keep the floor stocked and display new merchandise. Work towards meeting daily production goals. Be available for a flexible schedule.
