Position Overview
The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor. The role involves clinical service in the Cytopathology Division, which handles approximately 35,000 cases annually and includes a highly active fine needle aspiration/core biopsy interventional service. The Surgical Pathology Division offers subspecialty sign-out, collaborating closely with other departments such as Hematopathology and Diagnostic Molecular Pathology. Faculty are also expected to engage in research and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications
MD or MD/PhD Board certified in AP or AP/CP Board certified or eligible in cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Illinois Fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology or related subspecialty is preferred Additional Details
The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled. The expected base salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, determined by experience and qualifications. Benefits
