About the Job We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Technical Support professional in Ft Meade, MD. The position requires working Monday – Friday, from 11 am to 7 pm. Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network, desktop, and systems hardware and software. Coach and guide less experienced professionals as needed. Apply diagnostic techniques to identify issues, investigate causes, and recommend solutions. Offer remote support via desktop mirroring and other remote access tools for global sites. Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow up on helpdesk issues related to cloud infrastructure. Modify, move, and install new equipment. Perform technical tasks and provide site support. Conduct integrity testing and interview customers to gather problem information. Coordinate with Tier 2 technical support and Availability Management teams to escalate issues. Handle Data Transfer Agent requests for file transfers between networks. Requirements Must possess Top Secret / SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. IAT Level 1 certification; preferred certifications include CompTIA A+ CE or CompTIA Network+ CE. Experience with hardware installation, Microsoft Windows applications, and system administration.
