Job Overview We’re building an excellence center to deliver a new high-performance, modular, and scalable trading infrastructure. As a Tech Lead or Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be core to this transformation — architecting systems capable of handling hundreds of concurrent transactions and helping us scale into 2025 and beyond. Tasks Lead the design and development of high performance trading systems, ensuring robust architecture and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance existing functionalities in trading platforms. Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure low-latency and high-throughput trading operations. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in trading system capabilities. Requirements Must have: 5+ years (Tech Lead) or 3+ years (Senior Developer) of backend system development. Proven experience in high-performance trading systems or real-time financial applications. Strong command of system architecture, API design, and data handling under load. Passion for clean code — ideally with personal GitHub projects or side work to show. Comfortable working independently and in startup environments. Nice to have: Experience with OMS (Order Management Systems) and EOD (End-of-Day) settlement systems. Background in fintech, brokerages, or building mobile trading platforms. Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture.
