Job Summary Under minimal supervision, supports ground and flight operations of an Unmanned Aircraft System during stateside and overseas operations. Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and mission success. The pilot will be a cross-functional member of a two-man team, functioning as either Pilot-in-Command or Flight Engineer.

Responsibilities

Perform flight operation planning supporting customer requirements.

Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks.

Remote pilot a UAS, following or modifying flight plans to meet mission objectives.

Support flight operations outside the continental US for up to six months or as agreed.

Conduct flight demonstrations at remote locations.

Assist with training curriculum, documentation, and standardization materials.

Troubleshoot equipment issues to maximize mission readiness.

Ensure compliance with FAA, host nation, and customer regulations.

Perform other duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements Level II

High school diploma or GED

2-5 years relevant experience

Minimum of 500 flight hours as Pilot in Command

Current and maintain DoD Secret security clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance

FAA Class II Medical Certificate

Up to 100% travel (CONUS and OCONUS)

Expertise with Piccolo or Quattro flight controllers

Level III

High school diploma or GED

5-7 years relevant experience

Minimum of 500 flight hours as Pilot in Command

Current and maintain DoD Secret security clearance

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance

FAA Class II Medical Certificate

Preferred: Degree in aviation, engineering, or related field

Up to 100% travel (CONUS and OCONUS)

Expertise with Piccolo or Quattro flight controllers

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in aviation, engineering, or related field

Military flight experience

Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate

Private Pilot License

Experience in deployed UAS ISR operations
