As part of Munich Re Group, we provide expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance, surety risks, and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions. We are seeking a full-time Head of Sales to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division as a hybrid employee at one of our US office locations (Schaumburg, IL; New York, NY; Charleston, SC; Miami, FL; Houston, TX; Long Beach, CA), reporting to the President, RIG. Job Profile
Lead the sales strategy to increase revenue, profit, and market share, develop talent, and foster a high-performance culture. Coach the sales team, set goals, and coordinate training and development alongside Regional Vice Presidents. Develop a high-performance culture with clear expectations, accountability, collaboration, and recognition. Ensure deep understanding of clients, risks, and market dynamics within the team. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver client feedback, develop strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, and build new products. Analyze data to identify cross-sell opportunities. Partner with Marketing to maximize exposure and opportunities. Assist in closing complex deals, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure new business. Act as the lead representative for selected national accounts. Participate in industry functions and client visits as needed. Work closely with the data analytics team to enhance sales tracking tools. Job Requirements
10+ years of experience in sales and leadership roles. Passion for growth and serving clients. Proven record of exceeding sales targets and developing strategic solutions. Motivated, quick learner with strong negotiation skills. Understanding of logistics and customs broker industry. Leadership skills focused on talent development and culture building. Strategic thinker with experience in sales strategy development. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Experience with process improvements and launching initiatives. Valid producer license in domicile state. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Salary range for Schaumburg, IL: $180,000 to $250,000, plus benefits including health insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, and more. #J-18808-Ljbffr
