As a "minister" of the school, the Director models and supports the connection between students and Christ, aligning with the school’s Christ-centered mission. Representing the school both on and off campus, the Director engages warmly and professionally with students, parents, staff, and the community. They are responsible for achieving enrollment goals set by the Head of School and Board of Trustees, ensuring that both retention and new student enrollment align with the school’s Christ-centered culture. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed is also required. Position Overview

Ambleside is seeking a passionate, creative, and results-driven Director of Admissions and Marketing to lead efforts in attracting, enrolling, and retaining students. This role combines admissions management and strategic marketing. The Director will elevate the school’s presence and reputation while ensuring that prospective families experience a seamless, informative, and welcoming process from initial inquiry to enrollment. This individual will also communicate the unique Charlotte Mason approach to education, which is central to Ambleside’s mission. Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Enrollment Develop and implement a strategic admissions plan to attract and enroll mission-aligned students. Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective families. Conduct school tours, open houses, and information sessions to engage prospective families. Maintain accurate records of prospective and current students using the admissions database. Develop relationships with prospective families, guiding them through the admissions and financial aid processes. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to assess and improve retention strategies. Analyze enrollment trends and provide reports to leadership on key metrics. Marketing & Communications

Develop and execute a marketing plan to enhance the school's visibility in the community and increase enrollment. Manage the school’s website and social media presence, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and mission-aligned. Create digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and promotional videos. Oversee branding consistency across all communication platforms. Engage with local churches, community groups, and businesses to increase awareness of the school. Plan and promote admissions events, fundraising campaigns, and community outreach initiatives. Work with faculty and staff to collect testimonials, success stories, and engaging content to highlight the school’s impact. Compensation & Benefits

Requirements

Experience in social media, marketing, and networking preferred. Introductory knowledge of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills. Competent computer literacy, including working knowledge of Google Apps and Student Information Systems software. Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills. Clear federal and state background check results.
