Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Business Relationship Management team. This newly formed team aims to foster positive relationships between IT & Telecom and DOT's business partners. You will work directly with business teams to understand their processes, identify pain points, research solutions, and recommend technological improvements. Major Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between business units and IT & Telecom, developing strong relationships. Analyze current systems, processes, and procedures. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Create UML diagrams to aid understanding among teams. Write and maintain software requirements specifications and manage product backlogs. Communicate requirements effectively to technical teams. Support technology adoption through training and feedback. Conduct functional and requirements testing, collaborating with QA teams. Report and prioritize defects during testing cycles. Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel. Troubleshoot software issues and manage incidents.

Minimum Qualifications

Options include a bachelors degree with four years of relevant experience, an associate degree with six years of experience, or a bachelors degree with eight years of experience in related fields. Equivalent education and experience are also acceptable. Preferred Skills

Over 3 years in business analysis or project coordination. Over 2 years in gathering and documenting requirements. At least 1 year querying relational databases with SQL. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Visio. Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Access. Familiarity with JIRA and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of UiPath and Robotic Process Automation.
